Portable device for testing unintentional island in electricity distribution networks
The system allows to induce and monitor the island involuntary low voltage in order to analyze the basic parameters, highlight the peculiarities and promptly identify abnormal situations.
It consists of passive components (resistors, inductors, and capacitors), a motor with flywheels, an outer casing suitable for transportation and stationary outdoor equipment measuring the electrical system and a hardware and software for control and monitoring.
The device is connected to the three-phase low voltage and has a power output of 3x15 kW.
